Funfair Lights and Eiffel Tower at Night

We took a late evening walk through the Tuilleries and snapped a few photos of the funfair after dark.  Of course, here in Paris it isn't truly dark until around 10:30 pm.

This shot is from 9:45.  Hmm...not dark enough yet.

Add half an hour and some dark clouds and voila!

Of course, one can get hungry during all that waiting.  These churros were coated with just sugar.  To make up for the lack of cinnamon (the whole point, in my opinion) they added a tasty Nutella dipping sauce.

We were relaxing in the garden waiting see the sparkling Eiffel Tower (it does this for the last 10 minutes out of every hour).  But we were politely asked to leave because they were shutting the gates to the Tuilleries garden for the night.  The guard said it closes at 10:30pm.  We walked instead to the Place de la Concorde and had a great view of the light show.

Normal lighting...

...Sparkly lighting!
