We have been trying to find some indoor activities to fill up our afternoon hours and keep us out of the midday sun. Today after a nice lunch at Port Vell (Old Port), we went to the Barcelona Aquarium. They have a really cool people-mover/shark tunnel attraction that basically moves you through an enormous shark tank while the fish swim all around you. Having seen the movie "Sharknado", I was anxiously expecting the worst-case scenario of the ceiling caving in and sharp pointy teeth ripping us all to pieces.
I much prefer the harmless seahorses.
Kevin took control of the camera for most of the afternoon, snapping photos of all the fish while I just kind of zoned out and enjoyed the air conditioning.
We usually don't let ourselves get roped into buying the tourist photo ops, but this one was just so cheesy we couldn't resist. Queue the "Jaws" theme music...
